Georgian Radiology is pleased to announce the opening of our newest clinic in the Little Lake Health Centre on June 22, 2015. This new location will allow us to expand our services in order to provide better patient care to the residents of Barrie. This new clinic is being amalgamated with our Cundles Road clinic, and as such, Cundles will close permanently on June 19, 2015. The new clinic is located at 11 Lakeside Terrace, LL01 (Lower Level).
Services at the Little Lake clinic will include the latest in BMD and low-dose digital X-ray imaging. The 2,400-square-foot clinic will also include state-of-the-art ultrasound (US) machines to provide all forms of general abdominal and pelvic, obstetrical and MSK services. Also included are arterial and venous vascular doppler studies, as well as screening cardiovascular ultrasound studies for risk stratification.
Similar to the other Georgian Radiology clinics, the Little Lake site is fully digitized. We are proud to provide superior health care through the use of the latest technology. Your doctor is able to view digital images of your exams in their offices – most times before you have even left our clinic. In addition, we aim to introduce a new report distribution system by September 2015 which will allow physicians to obtain patient reports directly into patient files.
We strive to reduce wait times while providing exceptional patient care. Ultrasound and bone mineral density exams can be booked through our Bookings Department, either by phone (705-726-7442) or fax (705-726-8056). X-ray patients are welcome to visit our clinics on a walk-in basis.
